Under a Bourbon Street Moon
Under a Bourbon Street Moon is the second book of the Vampyr series.  VAMPYR is New Orleans hottest music club and vampire bar.  Vampyr's owners, Quinn and Tristan, reside in their plush Bourbon Street apartments above the night club with their significant other vampires, Giselle and Nadia.  The former eighties rock star turned entrepreneur, Quinn, has taken on another piano bar on St. Charles Avenue called Stiletto that will cater to mortals.  He is having some challenges finding the right people to staff the new club until Pam, a beautiful mortal woman from his past, and adorable country singer Amber Rose, who has just arrived from Nashville, enter his world.  Things get complicated when Quinn learns he has a connection to Amber Rose, and Giselle has suspicions about Pam's intentions.  Someone from Nadia's past has a permanent bond to her and a shocking revelation will have a major influence on all of them.   An encounter with a desperate female ghost from the nineteenth century reveals Tristan's younger years shortly before and after he was turned along with a secret buried long ago.

MCFARLAND grew up in New Orleans.  She loves the city and the culture calling it one of the most unique cities in the world.  Voodoo, vampires, ghosts, haunted houses and reincarnation have had a strong influence on her writing.  She is intrigued by New Orleans colorful history and it has had a tremendous impact on her stories.  When she isn't writing, she enjoys photography, reading, art, music, and spending time with family and friends.
