Review:
Ms Tee Back At Her Best December 12, 2013
By Jenny (Amazon review)
This is an author I adore and her novels always have me either sobbing or laughing, at times both! This start to a series was no exception!

Mairi is a girl who grew up knowing what she wants! What she wants is the HAE, the fact that she wants that with a Greek man, who needs to be a billionaire to boot, is all down to Harlequin romances that she was read as a young girl! I think we can all relate although my wish was always a handsome Sheikh or a hunky Italian! In walks two men who both fit the bill! The dreamy Damen Leventis and Ioniko Vlahos. So long as Mairi follows her lessons, which are the headers for the chapters complete with fantastic editor notes, what can go wrong! Answer, a lot in a small space of time! After the ending of this I cannot wait for book 2, The Art of Trusting a Greek Billionaire which I also out!

Another fantastic book by Ms Tee.

Please note I received an ARC of this book in return for an honest review

Excerpt:
“Tell me more about yourself.” Mairi waited for Damen to speak, but when the silence continued she said hesitantly, “Damen?”
He cleared his throat. Had he fucking heard her correctly? Did she really say something as impossibly juvenile as that? What kind of game was she playing, wanting him to act like an inexperienced boy on his first phone call with a girl?
Why wasn’t he speaking? Perhaps he was too busy and was just too nice enough to tell her the truth? Wincing at the realization that could very well be true, Mairi mumbled quickly, “I’m sorry. You must be really busy and tired---”
“No, of course not.” Damen was just as swift in his negation, lowering himself back on the couch positioned next to the hotel suite’s scenic windows. She was probably fucking playing with him, making him think that if he did not humor her now she would immediately move on to her other Greek boyfriend.
No fucking way would he let that happen. Mairi Tanner was his until he tired of her.
“Are you sure?”
“Of course.” He reached for the shot glass he had recently filled and downed it in one gulp. “What do you want to talk about?”
“Well…I just really want to know more about you.”
Know more about him in what way, Damen wondered cynically. Know more in the sense that she wanted the password to his safe? Exact figures of his current net worth? How many homes he owned?
“Ask me anything and I will do my best to answer you.”
Her eyes widened. “Anything?”
“Anything.”
“Then…what’s your favorite color?”
Damen stared at the phone. Did she just fucking ask him what his favorite color was?
“Damen? Are you there?”
Fuck, fuck, fuck. He wanted to laugh out loud but managed to rein in his amusement. He had no fucking idea what game Mairi Tanner was playing, but right now it didn’t matter. All Damen knew was that she kept surprising him, and her unpredictable ways just made him want her more and more.

The Anthology of Murderous Connections
Hate and greed knows no boundaries in the lives of many. The branches of a family tree are often broken by the murderous connections of those around them.
An inheritance is stolen, voices are heard, women are hunted, revenge is sought, and vows are broken.
These six short stories, plus two bonus excerpts of novellas, illustrate that connection of hate and how family can be the deadliest of all. The saying of “blood is thicker than water” has no meaning within the lives of these families

The Darkness Within
Chapter 1

The iron smell in the air should have been the first hint. She walked further into the room and froze, her gaze riveted on the floor.

Lana Rowland stared, stunned and horrified at what she saw. She had spied the cabin through the dense thicket of trees and had gone to investigate, her curious nature getting the best of her.

THAT had been mistake number one. The second had actually been to open the door. The smell was suffocating and yet she stood there like an idiot, unable to move or even twitch.

The bile rose in her throat and the world began to spin, the room tilting. She ordered herself to move, to run, and yet her body refused to obey.

There was blood everywhere. Every inch of the shack, the walls were covered. A long table set against the far wall, covered in the iron substance. She tried to breathe through her mouth but wanted to gag.

She felt ready to heave; to mix her own DNA to what was left.

Lana finally pulled her gaze from the floor. Her eyes burned
from the smell of the bleach that was heavy in the air. She gulped and started
to back away, feeling for the door behind her.

Suddenly, she heard a noise and froze again. Her heart seemed to
stop and lodge in her throat. She heard a door slam and felt the terror seize
her, her body stiff and poised.

This isn't a sweet and innocent coming of age story. If dirty talk, bedroom toys, and threesomes offend you... this is not your book. There are also no billionaires, strippers, or virgins. This is just the story of typical college kids trying to connect to each other.

"No one tells you when you start school just how homesick you will be, or how hard it will be to start life over with no direction and no friends or family. No one says that becoming your own person is terrifying." Lily had a crush on her brother's best friend, Derek, for years - which led to their steamy night ten months ago in her bedroom. Now, she's off to college and she and Derek are still going strong. However, when school starts, Lily realizes it's hard to maintain a relationship, while also trying to live her own life. She and Derek find themselves falling apart and she has no idea where to turn. Enter Jack. Lilly of the Valley

18+ New Adult romance

This isn’t a sweet and innocent coming of age story. If dirty talk, bedroom toys, and threesomes offend you… this is not your book. There are also no billionaires, strippers, or virgins. This is just the story of typical college kids trying to connect to each other.

No one tells you about pain. They tell you that it hurts, that sometimes it’s consuming. What they don’t tell you is that it’s not the pain that can kill you. It’s the uncomfortable numbness that follows, the weakness in your body when you realize your lungs may stop taking in air and you just can’t exert enough energy to care. It’s the way taste and color and smell fade from the world and all you’re left with is a sepia print of misery. That’s when the shift starts – the movement from passive to active. I fall asleep, hoping that the morning will bring back the pain. At least the pain is a thing.”

Plagued by a dark past, Jack sees college as a way out. Desperate to escape the area where he grew up, the people who know his secrets, and his own family, he deals with his problems through alcohol and meaningless sex.

When he first sees Lily, she’s the epitome of everything he hates. Yet something about her makes Jack rethink everything he knows and assumes about other people. Now, with the help of his best friend and lover, Jack has to decide if he wants to pursue something that he knows will only end badly.

Can Lily be one of the few people who can see Jack for who he really is – or will his darkness be too much for her to handle?

Star of Bethlehem

Jack isn’t a rock star. He’s not the leader of a MC. He isn’t a billionaire. Lily’s not the daughter of a mob boss, or a stripper, or a virgin with a BDSM fascination. They’re just regular college kids, who somehow found each other in the middle of all the crap and chaos of growing up.

“With you, Jack, it was the first time I ever felt real. It was the first time anyone looked at me and saw substance. It was the first time I wanted to make someone see me.”

Jack and Lily have navigated his past, her desire to move on from her family’s demands of her, his depression, and her loneliness. Now, on New Year’s Eve, they have an entire year laid out ahead of them. First, though, Jack needs to meet Lily’s family, to be welcomed into her life. It’s intimidating, but with a sweater that is way too hot and his grandmother’s ugly car, he arrives at Lily’s gleaming house on a hill, ready to open himself up completely to her.

Inside the perfect, sparkling house, Lily waits for the boy she has come to love. But Lily’s house and family are a lot like her – shiny and pretty on the outside, with a sad emptiness on the interior. Lily wants to give Jack the one thing he has always dreamed of – family and love – but can she keep him from seeing how hollow a lot of the picture perfect life he fantasizes about really is?

This is a novella length work that follows Forget Me Not and Lily of the Valley.

About The Author:
Sarah Daltry writes erotica and romance that ranges from sweet to steamy. She moves around a lot and has trouble committing to things. Bitter Fruits is her first full length novel. Sarah also has three novellas (including Star of Bethlehem, part of the Flowering series) and several short stories available. She is currently working on Immortal Star and Daughter of Heaven in this series, and Orange Blossom, another novel in Flowering. When Sarah isn’t writing, she tends to waste a lot of time checking Facebook for pictures of cats, shooting virtual zombies, and simply staring out the window.

After the unexpected death of her Dad and the haunting manner in which he died, Riley Shaw built invisible walls around her heart. Barriers she created to protect her from splintering into broken pieces that couldn’t be repaired.
